Fic Submissions

If you'd like to see some of your work featured within the vault simply email your pieces to K&C with the following information.

WARNING

In order for your fic to be eligible for the vault it must be a complete piece of work. No WIP will be accepted. We will gladly archive your fic when it is complete, and would be more than happy to add it to the Rec. list, but until it is finished it will unfortunately not be put up in the vault.

This rule does not apply to a series of stories. You are more than welcome, and encouraged, to submit any story with a verse you intend to continue to dabble with in the future.

All stories will be read by myself before being put on the site to guaruntee a certain level of craftsmanship. If your story is rejected I will send an email back to you detailing the whys. Please do not feel offended by such an incident, it is not meant to be a personal attack against you or your writing.

Things that can hurt your chances of making it into the vault:

Bad Grammar and Spelling:
If I can't read your paper how am I supposed to give it a fair review. Spell-check is your friend. A beta is better.

Vagrant Character Bashing or Extreme OOC (out of character):
You've all read it and you know what it's like when a fic just starts tearing a character apart, and not in the good way. Everyone is entitled to write whatever kind of story they see fit with thier own interpretations, however, ones in which a character is taken FAR out of the realm of believability will not make it onto the site.

MPREG (male pregnancy):
Yes I know, this one really doesn't have anything to do with bad writing skills. It's pretty cut and dry and comes down to nothing more than personal taste. It squicks me to see male characters grow ovaries and other lady parts, sorry, but that's just how it's gunna be.

RPS (real people slash):
No Nick/David stories. This is a Xander/Angel site.

Threesomes:
Again, this is Xander/Angel site. Not a Xander/Angel/Spike, or a Xander/Angel/Doyle/Riley/InsertMaleSlut site, as fun as either of those alternatives are. Only Xangel stories will be put up on the site. It is okay, however, if your story contains elements of Xander or Angel with other characters romantically, as long as they don't become the predominant ship of the story. (i.e. If Xander begins the story dating Cordelia or Spike or whoever, that's fine, but the Xander/Angel pairing needs to be the focus of the story.)

Other Pairings:
Don't worry, I'm not going to shove the fact that this is a Xander/Angel site down your throat anymore...oh, wait....ok, in all seriousness this one is just here for fun, i mean c'mon, nobody is stupid enough to submit a non X/A story right?? I mean the theme around here isn't exactly what I'd call subtle.

So them's the rules, I hope none of these sound to overbearing or restricting. Anything else your wicked little minds can think of is completely fair game. Of which I will be looking forward to reading very much in the future.
